Group Support Services

MaryMac has effectively used teleseminars as an alternative to face-to-face support groups in your local community.  Perhaps you wish to remain anonymous, perhaps you don't feel comfortable in a group atmosphere sharing your inner most feelings with strangers, perhaps groups are too far from you geographically.  For the cost of a long-distance telephone call and a modest fee, you can listen in and, at times, participate along with others who are also grieving.  Join us in the comfort of your home.

♥
Rising Above the Pain (RAP) Weekly Bereavement Drop-In Group welcomes those grieving the death of a loved one.  This group is designed to give you the flexibility to visit whenever you wish.  You don't need to attend each week, although you are welcomed to.  Family and friends, who are interested in educating themselves about the grieving process in an effort to help someone they love who is grieving, are also welcome to attend.

MaryMac discusses a different topic each week and opens the lines to you to ask follow up questions, as time permits.
Topics include loneliness, anger, dealing with stress, holidays, anniversaries, helping children, etc.  Sign up and you'll receive an email with teleseminar phone number and details.  Currently we meet on Thursday evenings, 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, USA.

Individual Support Services

♥  Crisis Coaching is available to review the situation, consider the options and strategize a gameplan.  It might be looking at the plea bargain on the table and giving the Assistant District Attorney your answer.  It might be brainstorming together to work through possible options.  It might be gaining advice on a particular nuance of your grief that you feel is too painful to share and needs to be kept confidential.  This is the place.

If you need guidance in this area, please email us with a brief description and contact information and we will connect.

Online Support Services

♥  Grieving Hearts is a free on-line mutual help support group for those grieving a loved one's death.  To secure privacy, members are approved and then will be free to email to the group and others will connect with you.  You will receive email messages with the correspondence of the group members.  Visit here to join now.
