What is Private Coaching?

Unlike weekly one-hour bereavement counseling sessions, private coaching is a highly confidential, concentrated time when you and I will spend several hours together, face-to-face, personally connecting.

What We Do

Our purpose in coming together is to look at where you've been throughout your grieving process, what works and what doesn't, give you an opportunity to release emotional pain which has not been addressed, provide additional education to alleviate unnecessary pain in the future, and then, through prayer and meditation, work through some issues which you feel are hindering you now.  Then, together, we will set up a gameplan, or strategy, which will help move you further along through your grieving process in a more emotionally healthy way.

We will come together in a casual atmosphere, leaving cell phones and email behind, and concentrate on you.

Who would gain the most from private bereavement coaching?

Sometimes you're the busy executive who feels weekly counseling is not enough.  You are an entrepreneur, CEO, corporate manager, or someone who recognizes that your life is not working after a loved one's death and who needs to give concentrated attention to your pain.  You move in circles of influence where you need someone you can trust with your feelings and someone who honors your desire for everything said to be kept highly confidential at all times.

You understand you need to look at the entire picture, evaluate what is working and not working, get more education on the grieving process and set up a better strategy for dealing with your pain so you will become more effective in your professional and personal life.

Often times those I've helped have commented that they were floating but didn't have a solid sense of where they were going during this difficult time.  They wanted more direction, more education, so they wouldn't flounder through this time, uncertain whether what they were doing was helping or hurting themselves and their family relationships.

If you carry a great amount of responsibility in your business life as well as your personal life, and need to get quickly educated about what the grieving process may bring to your life, then private coaching is imperative.  If you've struggled through this time, you may find you aren't being effective in any area of life.

Anything else?

This is not a typical counseling session.  My nearly twenty-five years experience helping others who have been in extreme emotional pain is what I bring to you.  I have not only experienced this severe pain at many times in my own life, but I have helped countless individuals and families gain stability after the most painful of wounds - homicide.  I am not a traditional mental health therapist, counselor, or psychotherapist.  Far from it.

For this to be effective for you, you need to be open to the process.  Typically clients will travel to me, yet if schedules permit, I will travel to you.

How do I set up a time together?

Simply email me by clicking here. In one page or less, give me basic background on your loved one's death, your surviving family members, current challenges you personally are encountering, your location, and contact information.

Looking forward to our time together.

Blessings,

Mary Mac
